Do I look fat?

For those of you in the dark, James and I have a new addition coming around October 19th. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and feel like I look like I'm four months along already. What can you do? We are so excited to welcome a new White into the world.

Coronado

We stayed with James' grandparents this weekend at their gorgeous beach condo on Coronado Island. Natalie had so much fun and loved her G.G. (great-grandma) and Papa.

We went to dinner on Friday night, here's the view of downtown San Diego we had from our table.

Natalie and G.G.

Natalie was fearless of the ocean, she just wanted to go in further and further. And it was really cold!

Dancing Queen

This weekend, James, Nat, and I went down to Coronado Island where James' grandparents live (more pics later). James' grandma often gives talking/singing stuffed animals as gifts. Natalie received an easter bunny that sings "Let's go to the Hop". She then proceeded to press it's paw about 30 times in a row and dance! She's got some good moves, let me tell you!

Daddy/Daughter Weekend

Well, Melissa is back from her Warner Springs weekend. But before she blogs all about it, I have to update you on the happenings with Natty Gan and I this past weekend. First of all, I'm happy to report that we had no difficulties to speak of. Natalie would inquire after "Mama?" from time to time, but I would simply say she was with Grandma in Warner Springs and that was enough to appease her. So now, on to the activities...

Saturday morning, Natters helped me water the plants (and her pants)...

Next, we ventured across the street to the park. It was a cool morning which evidently gave Natalie the park to herself.

I think I love watching Natalie on the slide as much as she loves going down it (after hanging out at the top forever, of course).

Natalie is a big fan of the swings too. Now, I will admit her hair is looking a little crazy but I have a ready excuse. We were up early to help clean the church and everyone shows up in their grubbies...I didn't want her to feel like she didn't fit in.

As the day continued, the sun finally made an appearance. It was the perfect opportunity to try out the new bubble machine we got at Costco earlier in the day. (Please note: Natalie is in her second outfit of the day. Not because she needed one but because Melissa was interested in what I would pick out for her. Darn cute, if you ask me.)

We had lots of fun but we're both glad Mommy is back.

Warner Springs Ranch

My mom and I are going away for the weekend. We're heading to an old family vacation spot of ours, Warner Springs Ranch. We plan to organize my mom's pictures which have been sitting in boxes for the past 30 years. And of course, we'll relax a little too. James, on the other hand, will be taking care of the Natsk. This should be a good experience for both of them, I hope they enjoy their weekend (as much as I'm going to enjoy mine)!!

The olympic size hot springs pool. Ahhhh.

Apology

Yes, I am sorry, I have been a slacker and have received some complaints on my lack of posts. So here is an update on some of the things we've been doing in February.

Here we are, being lazy, which is why I haven't posted in three weeks:

Natalie, my mom, and I took a trip to Balboa where we rode the ferry, ate some pizza, and went on Natalie's favorite: the carousel. Here is a sweet action shot!

And of course, our fun trip to Chuck E. Cheese's, where Natalie went on every possible little moving ride they had available (do we see a theme here). I wish she looked like she was having a little more fun though.

She really didn't like this one, it went around like the hands on a clock, mommy got her before the ride was even done. Maybe next time!

Stay tuned for our March updates, I promise it will be in less than three weeks.
